Nikon f2.8 70-200 VR with teleconverter?
Has anyone ever tried this?
Essentially the lens is about $1500-2000, right? And if I buy a nikon 1.7x, or 2x teleconverter for a mere $500, this could give me greater power of a $9000 Nikon 500mm f4.
I understand the theory of this stopping-down the lens.
I just want to know, has anyone tried this, and how well does it work?
