Blue Tongued Skinks?
Im looking into getting a blue tongued skink. Ive looked through many info sheets. But i just want to make sure and hear from the experts. Could you send some good information about them please. Also Are they aggressive? Do they Bite? And is a 4foot long and 2 foot wide viv okay for one?

I've been bitten by mine once and it never happened again. It was a crushing bite as opposed to a slashing bite like from a monitor, it did hurt, but not as bad as it could have. It helps if you don't smell like food when you pick them up. I wouldn't say aggressive, but territorial, mine hisses at me when I go to pick him up. Just grab him, behind the head and then he can't get you. 
Tank sounds ok for him, I had problems with a vit A & C defiency so you must make sure that they get greens (kale, dandeleons, collard greens) and a pinkie or hopper once a week. I also feed a little cat food once a week and give him superworms and a few crickets(they usually end up drowned in the water dish), eggs (cooked to cut down risk of samonella) Vita supplements also help, sand is a good substrate, make a hide out of a tupperware container and fill it with dampened moss for humidity, it will also help with sheds. My Yura had toes that looked deformed due to bad sheds, one shed with the help of his new hide box and the toes almost look good as new. If you can let them roam around free for a little while it will help them get more comfortable, just be prepared for a big poop somewhere on the floor. They don't mind being held once you have them and can "snuggle" into you. Hope that helps.
