Which of these 2 budget telephoto lens should I get?
I am aware that budget lens have limited capabilities in terms of image quality not to mention durability (they're cheap anyway). But I am stuck in a tight budget (and I only have a Nikon D60) . I'm not a pro. I just wanted to get your opinion which of these 2 telephoto lens should I get:
Option 1: Nikon AF-S 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6 G VR DX IF-ED Telephoto Lens
Option 2: Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Lens for Nikon
Are Sigma lenses any good?
Thank you for your opinion.
my kit lens is an 18-55. I am thinking that the 55-200mm is a good complimentary lens with it but the Sigma 70-300 has farther reach and has macro feature. This why I am getting some opinions. So far the feedbacks are great. Thanks to the first 3 answerers.
I have two Sigma lenses and have been very disappointed with both of them. If you don't need an expensive paperweight buy the Nikon.
