nikon d300s and nikkor 105 mm f.2.8 micro lens?
ok so i bought a nikon d300s and a 105 micro lens and i have few more money left and these are my options buy the 17-55 or sigma 10-20 or nikon 16-85 18-200 a fish eye lens 10.5 mm now i really love the 17-55 i have tried the lens for 2 weeks and all i can say amazing the consistent aperture through out the zoom range is a plus but its kind of heavy and expensive and before you ask what type of shooting i do . i do mostly micro at home i don't make money out of photography and i do urban and walk around down town that kind of shooting and a bit of landscape so please feel free to answer as you like thanks
Do you have a standard zoom of some kind? Something to be an every day lens and stay on your camera when you're out and about and doing nothing special.
The best lenses for this are probably the 17-55 or the 18-200. I have an 18-200 on my camera pretty much all the time and only change lenses when I know I need something specific.
The 17-55 will be a much nicer lens but not necessarily as useful as the 200mm reach. Most people use their zooms at the far end of their reach but 18-200 gives you great choice.
