Canon PowerShot G9 vs Fujifilm FinePix S9600 in MACRO SHOTS?
Hi, I am stuck between these two cameras for my jewellery photography. I can't work out which one is the best for this kind of photography?
I've read a review on somebody who claims that PowerShot G9 is outstanding in Maro shotting, he would not go for the FinePix S9600.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that the Canon image is far superior in this comparison. I've got them up on the same screen and I definitely prefer the Canon image. If you think it's too dark, just bump up the levels a tiny little bit. The Fuji image is pretty flat and washed out to me. It could be simply a matter of proper exposure and that might equalize things (the Fuji looks a bit overexposed) but of these two samples, the Canon is the clear winner.
