is there any way to fix the light meter on a Nikon Nikkor-S Auto 50mm f/1.4 lens?
without taking it somewher to get repaired?
or a nikkormat camera? its a really old camera/lens.
If the meter in the camera is dysfunctional, or the electronic link between the lens and the body is dysfunctional, repair might be expensive. A simple thing to try first could be to change the battery in the body. If that doesn't fix it, try cleaning the contacts on the lens and body with a Q-tip slightly moistened with alcohol, and then a dry Q-tip.
