Fisheye lens?
I'm wanting a fisheye lense for my nikon D40 but both the new....
AF DX Fisheye- NIKKOR 10.5mm f/2.8G ED
AF Fisheye- NIKKOR 16mm f/2.8D
...Are not in my budget. I was wondering if their are any other f-mount lenses that are fisheye lenses that will work on a Nikon D40.
Actually the 10.5mm lens is the only one that will produce a "fisheye" effect on your camera. the 16mm is designed for a full frame camera like the Nikon 35mm SLR's or D3.
I found a used 10.5mm lens on craigs list about six months ago ... just take your time and keep looking for a used fisheye
