In relation to camera or a phone camera, what is an optical zoom and a digital zoom? and what do the symbols '3X', '5X', etc. in the camera denote? Does higher number mean, higher efficiency?
the 3x does mean how much digital/optical zoom the camera has and that means the higher the better. When it comes to optical zoom, the camera zooms in on an object with it's lenses which is better than digital zoom cause that is just done with the help of software to zoom in on an object. (zoomed-in objects look a lot more pixely with digital zoom than with optical zoom)
