RC on board camera. Where does it get its power?
I am an amateur at RC vehicles. I received a vintage RC car as a gift (it is a Tyco Heads Up! 9.6V Turbo Hopper) and I was interested in installing an on board camera. If I bought this camera, I would put it on my self. I am just curious, how are those cameras powered? Will I have to do some wiring, or will I just be able to attach it to a separate battery?

You will have to have a power supply and transmitter/transceiver of some sort installed.
The ones I have seen do have a built in antennae , a power supply harness for the batteries uses 1 9 volt and the transmitter.
Depending on which one you but it should come with everything you need.
I did this one time with a spy can mounted on a late 80's Kyosho Sno cat with actual Estes model rocket launchers on the back. the engines were ignited by a servo that turned an old electronic lighter. I upgraded the chassis to aluminum and added metal track links.
A Tyco Turbo Hopper is awesome.
