Which camera would be best for a novice photographer?
I've been taking pictures for a couple of years now and am looking to get a dslr but am unsure of which one to get. I have old lenses from a 35mm Minolta SLR and am hoping to be able to use them on the new camera. Please help me decipher between these cameras as to which would be the best buy.
- Canon EOS Rebel XTi w/ 18-55 mm lens
- Samsung GX-10 w/ 18-55 mm lens
- Nikon D40X w/ 18-55 mm lens
- Sony Alpha A100k w/ 18-70mm lens
this one isnt in the same ball park as the others but im wondering if it is worthy..

if you have auto focus "A" mount minolta lens they will work with the Sony Alpha.
so if i were you i would get the sony first, second the canon, third the nikon
i use all three brands, own two rent the third.
